is as good as the first one butintense With light BDSM elements this story focusto the romance than to the kinky parts I enjoyed reading it very much because I found the characters very interesting.Cora is Aidan s submissive for the last two years and she s in love with him But he s a man haunted and he doesn t want to love anyone after the death of the woman he loved many years ago But enough is enough and Cora realized that she doesn t want just to play any And that means that their relationship is going to change Cora is very nice I liked her spirit and her determination Yes, she was really late admitting her feelings to everyone but she s a woman who wants to be happy and when something makes her feel bad she knows that she has to walk away She s proud and strong and a very good friend.Aidan was also very good Dominant and serious, he s the kind of man that every woman wants Although I didn t like the way he was acting, I admit that I understand him What he s been through wasn t easy and he needed the right person to feel complete again So, the plot was nice, the writing style very good and the characters interesting and if you want to read a book from this genre this is a very good choice Claimed Club Sin 1 by Stacey Kennedy was a wonderful, warm, sweet story of love, submission, and taking chances with one s feelings Bared Club Sin 2 , book two in the overall premise of the story, but I didn t like how it played out on the pages. For two years Aidan and Cora have played together, spent enough time together to know each other wants and needs, but once the scene is finished the heat and chemistry between Aiden and Cora is also gone, and that dear reader is the basis of the story How can two people who have spent such intimate, emotional, high octane, adrenalin pumping moments together not understand their feeling towards each other I found the writing didn t flow as well in this book, it was extremely repetitive, and seemed to almost have a circular pattern like a planet orbiting the star At times the writing was crisp, warm, erotic, almost poetic, concise and to the point, but it was not consistent throughout the book The characters were thin, not a lot of back story, just enough so you would have some interest in them, there was satisfactory interaction between Aidan Cora and the secondary characters in the book, any newly introduced characters fell into place seamlessly There was no doubt in my mind that there were strong friendships, and a support structure firmly in place amongst these characters.I seemed to have hadissues with Cora s character, then Aidan s Cora engaged in this D s relationship with full knowledge that is was a non committed relationship, and that Aidan had suffered a loss shortly before they had gotten together, both Aidan and Cora assumed they knew what the other wanted out of their D s relationship I felt that Cora changed the rules by falling in love with Aidan, and although the chemistry was there, I didn t like her going off the emotional deep end when Aidan didn t realize her love for him, or his feelings towards her I also hated that Cora felt the time was never right or it was too soon to tell Aidan how she really felt I thought Cora s lack of honest communication was really the problem I know that drama is important to a story line, but the tension, attitudes, and taking sides throughout the course of the story by the other Doms, and Cora s girlfriends seemed to get in the way for me I liked Aiden, he had his issues, but I thought he worked really hard to resolve the problems between Cora and himself He could have just walked away, but he stuck by her through all of the drama I really didn t think that Aidan deserved some of the attitude the other Dom s dumped on him I also disliked Cora s attitude that she had taken care of Aidan during his difficult time What seemed to be lacking in this story for me was romance, the sex was hot, well written for the most part, but beyond the dungeon, Aidan and Cora had so little interaction with each other, it was hard to see them as a couple I thought that one of the nicest parts of the story was when Aidan took Cora rock climbing, and they spent the night camping This was the first time we really got to see them outside of the club.I think that overall the story line was very thin it was a single focus plot I think that if time has been spent fleshing out characters , giving them a personality, making them seemreal, creating a relationship between Aidan and Cora outside of the club, looking at Aidan s feelings, and not rushing to the traditional HEA to satisfy the reader the book would have beenenjoyable for me.In closing, this was a two star read for me I received this ARC copy of Bared from Loveswept s NetGalley Catalog and Random House Publishing Group for an honest review In a novel that s perfect for fans of Fifty Shades of Grey, Stacey Kennedy returns to Club Sin with another wicked and wild tale of submission, seduction, and love At Las Vegas s exclusive Club Sin, Aidan Knight is the Master, unleashing the erotic yearnings of his submissive lovers But his dominant fa ade conceals a devastating loss something he instantly recognizes in his personally trained submissive Cora Adams Sworn to unearth her secrets, Aidan uses his seductive skills to ignite her wildest desires until Cora yields to the pleasure she can find only with him Cora came to the BDSM club to act out her sub and dom fantasies without ever revealing the heartbreak that haunts her But Aidan s masterful touch is bringing her closer to the edge and deeper into a world of control and surrender He refuses to allow her to submit to any other man nor does she want to It s a dangerous game they re playing For as they give in to passion, they must lay bare their souls for a love that could heal and free them both Bared is an erotic romance intended for mature audiences Praise for Stacey Kennedy s Claimed Claimed sucked me in Stacey Kennedy weaves together the intense BDSM lifestyle with the soft touch of a sweeter, traditional love story in a novel with an engaging heroine at its heart J Kenner, New York Times bestselling author of Release Me Deliciously sexy, Claimed will captivate you at once, leading you on an erotic journey that you won t want to end A fabulous talent, just force himpain But when those feelings become too strong to hide a shift occurs Aiden can see pain in her eyes As her Dom, he knows it s his responsibility to erase that pain But he hasn t realized yet that he is the cause of that pain I completely fell in love with this series with the first book, Claimed where we met Presley Dmitri, the other club Masters and Cora Presley s best friend The tension between Cora and Aiden was so alive in Claimed, that I was dying to get my hands on Bared to find out just what had these two so connected but yet uncommitted.Aiden s past was tragic and when he finally has to face it, the guilt and the blame he bore was heartbreaking I did find myself wanting to shake some sense into Cora, wanting her to reveal her feelings and to stop making excuses for why it was too soon These two had such sparks when they played, but the softer moments when he was trying to gain her trust were beautiful. This is a sizzling BDSM series that has the perfect balance of kink and romance I love that these men who all are very dominant and love to play don t live the lifestyle 100% of the time It allows you to fully get to know the characters and connect to them You aren t just overwhelmed by panty soaking sex, you get a story with depth that reaches beyond the walls of the club.I am not sure whose story we ll get in Desired I am hoping it is Kyler s since he played such a part in Aiden Cora s story Club Sin is a must read series for those that like their Hero wielding a whip and their Heroine bent over a spanking bench Buddy read with really helped calm me down, otherwise this review would have gone differently I liked both characters, mostly Cora is a selfless submissive who damages herself emotionally to help the man she has fallen in love with Aidan is a great guy who has gone through an enormous loss and, after 5 years, still hasn t completely healed It was great watching them together and seeing how they complemented each other There were some glitches, the heroine couldn t STOP talking about her frigging loins and the hero was obvious to some things happening around him, but all in all I didn t feel that I had to punch anyone in the face, so it was a win D Bared is the second novel in Stacey Kennedy s BDSM series Club Sin and works completely well as a standalone It is not necessary to read the first book in the series, Claimed, to understand what is happening in this one.I think it s safe to say that these books are based purely on a fantasy world where the doms are pretty much not just perfect doms but perfect men as wel just exactly the way we girls would want them to be So long as you accept this and just go with the flow, then these books Bared is the second novel in Stacey Kennedy s BDSM series Club Sin and works completely well as a standalone It is not necessary to read the first book in the series, Claimed, to understand what is happening in this one.I think it s safe to say that these books are based purely on a fantasy world where the doms are pretty much not just perfect doms but perfect men as wel just exactly the way we girls would want them to be So long as you accept this and just go with the flow, then these books work as deliciously erotic romance with feisty submissives and doms to die for. There s not a huge amount of action in these books they re purely romances and each book examines the dynamics of a D s relationship In Bared, it is the turn of Cora and Master Aidan They ve been playing together in the dungeon at Club Sin for two years and Cora is the perfect submissive for Aidan she s strong in her submission and gives herself completely to her dom and he revels in this Aidan is highly accomplished in his sensual mastery of her but sees her as only a submissive, having lost the previous woman in his life to a drunk driver He never wants that kind of connection again and is unable to let go of his grief.Cora, of course, is completely and utterly in love with her dom but copes with the relationship never extending beyond the dungeon but deep down she wants farbut, after two years, she is finding it harder and harder to hide her feelings and her apparent unhappiness makes Aidan uneasy even though he can t understand why and so this is our story it s largely the development of Aidan and Cora s relationship to something that will extend beyond the dungeon. As a BDSM romance this works really well and will appeal to fans of Cherise Sinclair, Roni Loren and Lynda Aicher it s mostly glitterkink club based and I would classify it was BDSM lite There s really nothinghardcore than bondage and flogging going on here It s very romantic the doms really are swoonworthy, every single one of them, and I can t wait to hear all of their stories.Aidan and Cora really do light up the pages with their D s scenes in the club they are, at first, wonderfully compatible and to outward appearances the perfect dom sub couple but things get a little rocky for them as they have to work through their different expectations and Aidan needs to let go of the past and embrace what he has right in front of him So, for a wonderful, deliciously sexy and sensual BDSM romance the whole Club Sin series really does check all the boxes very much looking forward tofrom Stacey Kennedy.4 kinky stars3.5 stars If Aidan wasn t so blind and didn t have so much guilt over something he couldn t have control over, there wouldn t be so much heartache The book wasfocused on the mechanics of the D s relationship than the erotic which is not something you can see development Nothing This was not the case with this second installment to the Club Sin Series by Stacey kennedy We were treated to characters with depth and real emotion The supporting players were fun to read about and I became interested in knowing , hoping we d get a bigger look into them in future books. Our two main protagonists are Cora Adams and Aidan Knight Cora is a submissive who has been a member at Club Sin for two years under the tutelage of the same master for that length of time Aidan has been Cora s Master and relished in the closeness and the chemistry they shared while playing in the dungeon For Aidan, things were perfect He couldn t imagine himself with any other, he regarded Cora as the perfect submissive and though they weren t exclusive neither had ever played with a different master or sub. However, things were quite different for Cora For the past two years, she had shoved any feelings she felt for Aidan aside in hopes of helping him get through a very significant loss in his life She refused to acknowledge what she truly wanted from their relationship in partial fear that she would lose him forever Everything comes to a head when Aidan notices a visible change in Cora s demeanor, vowing to get to the bottom of what is upsetting her, he unknowingly uncoversthan he had ever anticipated This ARC was kindly provided in exchange for an honest quite mixed But I really liked the blurb I m a sucker for the unrequited love trope that I requested this at NetGalley And it s safe to say that I really liked this one very much Aidan is a wonderfully tortured hero, although I must admit, I wanted to bash in the head for being so clueless And Cora is a likable heroine Club Sin is the one place she can hang out and let go of her inhibitions and she doesn t want anything to threaten that. While most of the scenes in the book were set in a BDSM club, this book isn t exactly a BDSM book Yes, this book has some BDSM elements to it but it s not as intense as the other ones maybe because both of the characters are not into the BDSM lifestyle 24 7 So for readers who might balk at the prospect of reading a BDSM book, don t The BDSM here is very tame This is definitely recommended for people who are looking for a book with light BDSM elements with a healthy dose of romance and angst ARC provided by Loveswept via NetGalley in out there but the connections between the Aidan and Cora at the club was amazing In the first book I was missing the romance between the characters so I wasn t expecting anythingthan another smutty book when I read this one I was pleasantly surprised though and loved the emotional connection that Aidan and Cora had
