FANTASTIC book Full of rich content, divided into easily digested portions A lot of anecdotal stories and fabulous pictures Doesn t just focus on white woman history, but incorporates multiple histories of women of color.This is a BIG book, and yes, it took some time to maneuver through it, but it was well worth it. Authors are BYU grads and former HS and MS teachers. LOL, the cover makes it look like it was written by LDS, scrapbooking women Although I m not really impressed with the included review, this is something I m interested in delving into. That s my history teacher This is a fantastic book to get down into the lives of real women making a difference in American history so many I had just never even heard of who did wonderful things or just overcame challenging things It is full of delightful tidbits and fantastic pictures My children have all enjoyed learning from this book our favorite part was the detail about the women giving up their corsets for the war effort WW1 , enough to build 2 battleships what a great idea
